OR-MEP Role: Graphic Designer / Marketing Associate

What motivates you in this role?

Improving energy efficiency for low-income Oregonians is what motivates me. I’m mission-driven and am motivated by seeing how our work persuades people to make a difference. This is also one of the first programs I’m involved with that has a strong focus on DEI and I’m looking forward to learning how to incorporate best practices.

What excites you most about the Multifamily Energy Program?

I believe OR-MEP is unique and has a lot to offer, so I’m excited to communicate that with everyone and making a positive impact through the work that we do. I’m also excited to expand my horizons and use my experience to help the OR-MEP team achieve new goals.

What is one fun fact about you that you think people would love to know?

Before I started my career in designing, I was a violinist for 7 years. I was a part of an orchestra that performed at various concert halls, schools and festivals throughout California.

What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to in Oregon?

I had the opportunity to visit Portland for the first time in the fall of 2022 and one of the more memorable places for me was Pioneer Square. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere, architecture, art, statues, food and performances there. I’d definitely visit again with friends and family.
