OR-MEP Role:
Energy Advisor
What motivates you in this role?
It’s always the people. It is very rewarding doing work that makes positive impacts on the day-to-day lives of people and communities.
What excites you most about the Multifamily Energy Program?
I have worked on other multifamily energy efficiency programs, mostly in California, but this is the first one that combines both new construction and retrofits. I am excited about working on unique and dynamic projects and having more interaction with each individual project.
What is one fun fact about you that you think people would love to know?
My perfect morning involves making an entire pot of coffee and binge watching late 90s, early 2000s British historical restoration TV shows while working on my latest quilt or weaving. I am an old lady living in a mid-twenty-year-old’s body.
What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to in Oregon?
As a longtime lover of anything literature, I would have to say that my favorite place that I’ve visited was a hotel in Newport called the Sylvia Beach Hotel. It’s a book-themed hotel that has a cozy two-story library paired with sweeping coastal views.
