OR-MEP Role: Senior Marketing Coordinator

What motivates you in this role? Growing up around Seattle and now living in Portland, I have seen how the lack of affordable housing can affect a community. Residents who have lived their entire lives in these cities are getting priced out. I am motivated by trying to make a difference through creating fair, affordable housing that can rebuild a sense of community.

What excites you most about the Multifamily Energy Program?

I am very passionate about the environment and the need for more affordable housing in Oregon, so it is amazing to work with OR-MEP to improve energy efficiency and support affordable housing properties in our state.

What is one fun fact about you that you think people would love to know?

I was a dual-sport athlete in college; I played soccer and ran sprints for the Track & Field team. I still play soccer in my free time while training for various long-distance races. 

What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to in Oregon?

The summer after I graduated from college, I went on a 10-day road trip along the Oregon Coast with my best friend. While there were so many amazing cliffs, beaches, and lighthouses, the small town of Oceanside was the highlight of my trip.
