OR-MEP Role: Energy Advisor

What motivates you in this role?

There are many aspects of this role that motivate me, but the biggest is making a meaningful impact on people’s lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that every project I contribute to helps provide resources that can lower utility costs for residents while promoting cleaner, more efficient energy solutions. Not only does that improve affordability for the people we serve, but it also supports a healthier environment and helps create more sustainable communities for the future.

What excites you most about the Multifamily Energy Program?

The opportunity to help improve dozens of multifamily properties by making them more energy efficient while reducing costs for the property owners and residents is exciting. I also think it will be exciting to drive around and recognize properties I’ve had the opportunity to support, knowing I played a small part in making a positive difference. 

What is one fun fact about you that you think people would love to know?

I’ve visited almost all 50 states after growing up moving around the country, so traveling has always been a big part of my life. I’m also excited to take my first solo international trip later this year, which will be a whole new adventure! 

What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to in Oregon?

For the 4th of July this year, I went camping with some friends at Waldo Lake, and it was absolutely gorgeous. I had such a great time that I’m already trying to plan another trip back.
