OR-MEP Role:
Southern Oregon Energy Advisor

What motivates you in this role?
I enjoy working with the development team members on multifamily projects, from owners to subcontractors. I find satisfaction in discovering the right fit for each unique project and seeing it through to completion.

What excites you most about the Multifamily Energy Program?
I like that OR-MEP has a path for any affordable multifamily project – from a simple retrofit to a major renovation. The program allows flexibility for owners to take advantage of incentives to help them achieve their goals. We understand that budgets and timelines change, and energy advisors are there to support owners and energy consultants throughout the entire process. Our goals are the same: To make affordable housing properties energy efficient, providing residents with low cost living and a great place to live.

What is one fun fact about you that you think people would love to know?
I lived in a trailer on top a mountain with no electricity or running water when I was a logger in Colorado.

What is your favorite place that you’ve traveled to in Oregon?
Every weekend this summer I floated on a tube down the entire Rogue River in Southern Oregon, minus some class four sections. Viewing Southern Oregon’s beautiful landscape and bridges from the river was priceless.
