Sunnyslope Manor hosted a renovation celebration in September after the 50-year-old property completed significant retrofits. The multifamily property is a 50-unit townhome-style development that supports working families in Salem.
The OR-MEP team joined Northwest Housing Alternatives for a tour of the property upgrades. Sunnyslope Manor completed a deep retrofit with support from OR-MEP funds, including energy efficient insulation, windows, air sealing, and LED lighting. In addition to OR-MEP measures, the property also installed heat pump water heaters, energy recovery ventilators, a 27 kW solar panel array, and native drought-resistant landscaping.

OR-MEP Technical Manager Julia Sinex and Energy Advisors Carrie Bee and Anna Kolodziejski attended the celebration with the Northwest Housing Alternatives team, including Housing Developer Clayton Crowhurst who worked closely with OR-MEP throughout the project. The group viewed the property improvements and learned about the positive resident impact of the new energy efficient measures.
