The All-Electric New Construction webinar training provides attendees with an understanding of the key benefits, approaches and considerations for all-electric new construction.
By pairing highly efficient electric technologies, such as heat pump water heaters and induction cooking, with renewable or carbon-free electricity, developers and property owners can drastically reduce the climate impact of their buildings, while also improving indoor air quality, and lowering utility bills.
Nick Young, with the Association for Energy Affordability (AEA), will deliver this training. As a trainer, Nick enjoys helping demystify technical concepts and giving people the tools and confidence to use different approaches that can improve buildings and reduce environmental impacts. He firmly believes that strategies to address the housing and climate crises are complementary, not competing. AEA is dedicated to preserving safe, healthy, and affordable housing and reducing climate impacts through energy efficiency and building decarbonization – they are very happy to partner with programs like OR-MEP that share those goals. View the webinar to learn about the benefits of all-electric new construction and get to know the expertise Nick brings to OR-MEP!
